For Jack

One of our most dedicated commenters, Jack Spratt put in a request for a picture of one of our favourite bloggers.

So, just for you Jack, here is the very holy Andy in Korea mocking Christ's crucifixion aboard a Devil coloured Daewoo Matiz.

    Thanks fellas...

I really thought it was necessary to let the world know of this direct mockery of the crucifiction. Who knew such a playful young christian could have such a devilish streak in him?

What kind of self respecting man would drive around in a little red piece of shit like that?
i heard recently that if a man in Korea is driving a red Matiz that means that he's selling sexual favours to those in need
thats probably not true in the big cities where those cars are practical, but i heard that its common knowledge in small to mid sized cities

You know what? Its been a pretty damn good weekend. I really hadn’t planned much to happen and as it turned out I managed to do a fair bit as well as have an enjoyable time. And what better to finish off the weekend then a good home cooked meal and a bottle of Californian red wine.
I got up early on Saturday morning and did some study at the new Rosebud. It’s smaller than the Rosebud I used to study at several months ago, but at that time of the day its empty and I don’t feel I’m taking away tables from other customers who want to sit down.
I then caught up with Mike and we did a bit of downtown window shopping. Since Jay left it’s nice to see Mike being more, well, and without trying to make ’something’ out of it, sociable. Seems to be always the way when Jay’s out of the country, which I suppose is a bit of shame because Mike isn’t a half decent bloke when he isn’t giving me death stares between classes.
Saturday night I caught up briefly with two of my university students who wanted to give me a couple of birthday gifts (all you bastards forgot). They seemed very strange and perhaps they were a little taken away with Mike being there. The whole experience was a little awkward, for God only knows what reasons, and they made a hasty retreat.
We had dinner and drinks with a couple of Mike’s university buddies, Susan and Brant (Hi Susan), and while I hadn’t spent much time with either of them before, enjoyed their company immensely, even when they were talking about scat porn.
Today was a little more low key and I spent the entire morning cleaning up the bathroom, the kitchen, and more importantly my bedroom. While I managed to clean about 80% of it, there’s still a few piece of clutter left on my bed that I have to remove somewhere before I go to bed in a couple of hours. I also sorted out what pictures of China I want printed out and took then to the photo place before Mike and i went over to E Mart.
The real reason I had gone to E Mart was to buy a wedding present for one of our teacher’s who finished up at the hagwon last week. I had intended to buy her a nice crystal vase, or something like that, but couldn’t find anything even close to what I wanted to buy. Instead I used the money to buy myself some new pants (for my ever expanding waistline) and a sweater.
Still, I had to be content with buying clothes. I’ve mentioned before how hard it is for me, so whenever I do buy something, regardless of the price (though in this instance it wasn’t expensive) I should be happy to have something new and doesn’t look like its 4 or 5 years old.
We came home and I made a nice tandoori chicken and flatbread meal with salad for us and, as mentioned above, a nice bottle of red.
There’s not too much you can ask from a weekend, and I was happy to have had an enjoyable and relaxing one.

Does anyone think that car is actually moving? Because if it is, then andy could really get hurt.

Levi, it's probably being driven by a midget (or a Korean (same size)).

We were going 100 km/h, the car was running on holy water. It was perfectly safe, because God has given me a protective cloak.
